Our people
Attorney Mr. Jordan DACI, M.A, (Ph.D. Candidate), has been graduated with honors at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana obtaining the title Lawyer in June 2002. In October 2003, Mr. DACI has completed his Post-graduate interdisciplinary studies for the European Masters Degree in Democracy and Human Rights at the University of Bologna and the University of Sarajevo and obtaining the title Master of Arts with masters thesis: Organized Crime and Human Rights October 2003. Mr. Daci is an Attorney at law and member of the Albanian Bar Association, the Association for Psychoanalysis of Culture and Society, New York-USA and the Alumni Association of Post-graduate Interdisciplinary Studies of the University of Sarajevo.
Mr. Daci is the author of a university textbook for the course of Human Rights Law Tė Drejtat e Njeriut (Human Rights Law). Luarasi University Press. Format B5, No.pages.368. Mr. DACI has excellent knowledge of English, Italian and Turkish and basic knowledge of Serbo-Croatian language. As part of his academic activity, Mr. DACI has held several lectures and presentations at various well-known world universities and has participated in many scientific events.
Beside the undergraduate and postgraduate studies, Mr. DACI has completed many short-term and mid-term training courses in Albania and abroad at some well-known universities and institutes in Europe and wider.
During the period 1999 2006, Mr. Daci has worked as: lecturer of Human Rights Law, Public Law and head of the International Relations Department at School of Law, Luarasi University in Tirana, as Attorney at law and as High Expert (lawyer) at the Directorate for International Relations and European Integration, Ministry of Finance of Albania. He has been also co-founder and head of several NGOs.
During the academic years 2006-2007, he worked as Vise Rector for Academic Issues/ General Director of the Institute for Research and Consultations and lecturer of International and European Law and Foreign Policy and Diplomacy at the Universum University in Prishtina.
From August 1, 2006, until March 2008, Mr. Daci has worked as International Adviser at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Kosovo and at the same time as part-time lecturer of International Public Law, Human Rights Law and Public Law at the Dardania University in Prishtina.
From October 2008 to April 2009, Mr. Daci worked as Coordinator for the Judicial Reform Index (JRI) for Albania, Volume IV 2008, a project of the American Bar Association's Rule of Law Initiative with the support of the USAID. The JRI report for Albania was launched out on April 10, 2009.
Currently, Attorney Daci is completing his post-graduate doctorial studies for the academic degree Doctor of Jurisprudence with dissertation thesis The relationship between the international law and domestic law according to the Constitution of the Republic of Albania and at the same time is working also as part-time lecturer of Human Rights Law, Public Law, European Unions Legislation and Approximation Issues as well as the Head of Daci Law Firm.
